Charm's Summer Class

Our youngest daughter, Charm, is on the last week of attending her summer class in preparation for the coming schoolyear. She is an incoming junior kindergarten in the same school where her two siblings are also enrolled. From the looks of it, Charm is going to be a bright pupil just like her Ate Clare. This early she is already showing good performance in school (talk about being a stage father).

Actually, the door of our own room has become a display area for her stars (small star-shaped cartolina cutouts  given by their teacher for participating in classroom activities) and the first three coloring activities they had in school. It motivates her to do even better at her young age. It makes her think that she is a good student. Of course, we reinforce her thinking, but at the same time teach her the virtue of humility.

I know it's too early to tell how she will fare when the real schooling begins. What matters for now is that she has been prepared for the school opening in June. For sure, she will enjoy it as she does now.
